For all ye who kindly asked…

…here is the cut. Post self wash. Nah. Make that post self wash, and no hairdryer and brushes. Just a comb out the knots (which there were none, thanks to wonderful conditioner and my insistence on overnight oiling) and run. The ultimate test of the goodness of a hair cut lies in this according to me. Whether it falls into shape with no styling. This one does.

The tamed mane

And yes, that’s right. That is the school bus. And that is moi, on school gate mom duty.

  17. Anamika says:

You look gorgeous. I always suspected this and now I am positive…your rants about other yummy mummys looking you down is all bull. Perhaps no one (if..and a highly weighted if because you seem like such a warm person from whatever I read on your blog)talks to you because they are jealous.
Btw, the hair length is absolutely purrrfect.

  18. CA says:

    Lovely !!
So you think for some one like me who cares very less on drying, styling etc etc, there is hope for looking presentable ?

  19. sraikh says:

  25. Kiran Manral says:

    Chanda, V: πŸ™‚ Thankee.

    Aathira: Thankee….

Itchy: Cannot believe you couldnt find the right word. ;P

    Madhu: πŸ™‚

Sunita: The magic word is conditioning. Conditioning well saves your skin everytime…

Mandira: Absolutely. Who on earth has the damn ten minutes to dry and style every morning when the child is pulling your brains out and refusing to get ready.

    Manisha: πŸ™‚

JLT: You girls are such a cheerleading squad!!!

    Deepa: Thank you.

    Gentle Whispers: πŸ™‚

Another Kiran: Precisely. Can take it all off the face with a scrunchie if required. Essential in this bleddy 37 degree Celsius weather.

Aarabik: Maybe you need to schedule your cuts around your india trips. πŸ˜‰

Abha: There is no hopeless hair except a bald head. Magic conditioner? Ever heard of a tacky, totally non chic conditioner called Mrs Marino? There you are. I swear by it.

    shilpa: πŸ™‚

Gayatri: Even an hour before washing your hair is enough. Try it. I swear by it.

    booboosmamma: πŸ™‚

Anamika: Girl you do good things for my self esteem.

    CA: Course there is.

Sraikh: Nope. He knows I’m boringly monogamous and totally sappy on him. And he’s a hunk.

    Just someone: πŸ™‚

    Chox: Thankee.

    Suma: Thankee.

Suki: Thanks, fellow school gate mom shot it…

    Childwoman: πŸ™‚

  26. Suki says:

Hey, I’ve never heard of this Mrs Marino thing or seen it anywhere!
Could you just tell me a) how much it costs, b) whether it has anything ending with “-one” on the ingredients list – eg dimethicone?
Looking for a conditioner for The Baby, actually. Brat’s hair is too thick and curly to surrender to plain nimbu-paani like mine now does.

  27. Veena says:

    Looks great!

  28. justanothermommydiary says:

  29. Homecooked says:
