This blog is on a break

…only for the weekend. Ganapati Bappa comes home on Sunday. Tomorrow will go by in a daze with the frenetic preparations. Sunday will go past in a daze with all the puja, the work, the guests dropping in for darshan. This year is a lowkey celebration. We arent planning to have the huge gathering that we have every year, yup, we’re chickening out thanks to swine flu and as also the fact that the child has been unwell for so long it is not funny.

Right now the primary debate is between a green and gold tissue sari with antique border or a red printed chiffon with embroidery and a gold blouse. Votes in please.

@all: I opted for the red printed chiffon. Was brought for me by dear SIL to be worn for the festivities, and was a kind thought.
At the end of it all, couldve worn a sackcloth, was so exhausted.
