The F word….

And no, its not what you’re thinking.
Read this wonderful speech by noted trader Paul Tudor Jones on Failure. Something everyone experiences. Something that no one talks about.
I’ve encountered failure. I’m sure you have too. All of us encounter some form of failure at every stage in our lives. What we do with our failure is what defines us, and helps mould us into the people we will become.
I think it is essential for everyone to face failure, to know that life is not always about roses and violins and standing on the first block on life’s podium. Life is about picking your self up from the ground, where you’ve fallen, bruised, and sorting your head out, waiting for your ears to stop ringing, and then start running again. Learning this time round, to watch ahead and look at the road below too.

Well said, failure is the biggest opportunity we fail to recognize. It is like you said, all about the attitude you have once you have failed. Do you get up and run or do you just sit there and sulk?

Success (without failure) makes you complacent and lazy. Failure on the other hand makes you wiser and live life to the fullest.

Thanks to failure I will never stop experimenting and learning…
